Live-Adventure Has Begun

Austin, Texas: We have been waiting for this day for over 10 months. We spent countless hours researching, obtaining gear, trying to find sponsors, and now it is finally here. We are excited to start climbing and want to get on the mountain as soon as possible. We will pick up a few more items in Anchorage, and will buy some more food before we leave for Talkeetna.

We received quite a few stares wearing our thick down coats and mountaineering boots to the airport in the 95 degree heat of Texas. We were like marshmallow movie stars.
